.: Vectoring :.Vectoring is the computer process needed to transfer a graphic design into a screen-printing or decal cutting format. This process ultimately determines the quality of your finished product. At Excalibur Creations & Recognition, I use the latest technology to achieve somes of the best vectors. The raster image is manually traced, to produce artwork of the highest quality. In order to convert your logo to all the correct formats, our designers first have to convert your logo into a VECTOR based format. This is done by literally tracing the outlines of each shape using a professional VECTOR based drawing program (Corel Draw, Illustrator). This is a fairly time consuming process and requires a highly skilled designer. Hopefully, I will have the correct font that it used in your logo and can simply replace the PIXEL based version. If not, I'll have to trace the font by hand and that will increase production time significantly. The best choice for logos and other line art is an EPS file (Encapsulated Post Script). EPS: A high resolution image stored in the Postscript page description language. The EPS standard enables users to transfer high-resolution graphics images between applications. You can size EPS images without sacrificing image quality. EPS files are typically generated from vector based programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, or CorelDraw. EPS files are fully scalable and are not susceptible to distortion. Also, spot colors are easily specified in vector programs, which comes in handy if your project is not going to be produced in 4-color process. I can output to the following file types :

VECTOR FILES - Files that are composed of mathematical shapes containing points and fills. RASTOR / BITMAP FILES - File made up of individual pixels (squares) of color. Proof Approval: Within one business day of receiving your Purchase Order, Excalibur Creations & Recognition will reply with written Proof Approval. If you do not receive a Proof Approval within 24 hours of sending your Purchase Order, please contact Excalibur Creations & Recognition to confirm that your artwork was received. Please proof read carefully for any typographical errors, omissions, discrepancies in artwork, etc. Return a signed copy of your Proof Approval to Excalibur Creations & Recognition via fax, mail, or email. Verbal approvals will not be accepted. By signing the Proof Approval, you are indicating that the proof is correct and is to be printed exactly as specified and approved. Excalibur Creations & Recognition is not responsible for reruns or corrections of printed materials caused by errors undetected by the customer on any proof approved materials. Production will not be scheduled until the Proof Approval is received. |
